Dr Nav Sedaghati is the Founder and Principal Solicitor of Sedaghati Law. He brings more than two decades of legal and commercial experience spanning private practice, the Bar, in-house leadership, board and executive roles, and major project delivery.
His experience extends across the full lifecycle of complex matters: transaction structuring, contract drafting and negotiation, governance, risk allocation and project delivery, through to claims, regulatory response, litigation, mediation, arbitration and expert determination. He has advised and acted in connection with joint ventures, PPPs and multi-billion-dollar infrastructure, construction, renewable energy, electricity and transport projects, as well as complex corporate, intellectual property, finance and cross-border matters.
Dr Sedaghati has practised as a solicitor and managing partner, barrister, general counsel and group head of legal, compliance and company secretariat, and head of legal on major infrastructure projects. He has also held senior executive, non-executive and company-secretarial appointments.
This breadth gives him a perspective informed by external counsel, advocacy, in-house decision-making, project delivery and commercial leadership. He approaches matters with legal precision, commercial judgment and a clear understanding of how legal strategy must operate in practice.
